I am not an Unreal Tournament guru, and even though voting is enabled on my server, I have no idea how to initiate a vote or to place a vote. Could someone help me out?
Also, what are the funciton keys for (other than "F1" and "F2")? I always seem to some how crash my game when I start pressing buttons...

I posted a thread in our forums at Crackaz a while back on kick voting and kickban voting. That's hardly ALL the votecalls but this (http://www.thecrackaz.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=2439&sid=4ce06f734ea955426ea6b208228338a2) should get you started.
As for the function keys, NEVER press F4. It crashes almost every system. F5 and F6 are 1st and 3rd person view (might have that reversed, not sure. Don't use them myself, I have a flase toggle alias set to F4...), F7 is netstats, F9 takes a screenshot.

Also F11 either increases or decreases gamma settings (I forget which). F12 runs the game in windowed mode.

Also two other vote commands not listed on that crackaz forum are
callvote changemap TH-mapname
callvote nextmap TH-mapname

Thank you for the info.
I will try and remember all that so next time I'm playing I know what to do. :D

F4? Ooh, gotta try that. I'm sure I've pressed it before with no ill results. What is it supposed to do? (There was a thread on TTLG about F keys but I'm too lazy to find it.)
F6 gives me net stats and F5 do nothing for me. I would very much like to switch to 1st person view when spectating some players, but my keys do not work. Did I do something to disable this? Hmm. I know about "behindview 1" and "..0" and have used it on myself ingame. Does this work while spectating?
Also, is there a key that will let me switch to other teammates ingame? I thought I did this many moons ago, but I can't now.

F4 is supposed to show the gamelog or something, but it just crashes most systems. I've rebound it to toggle 1st/3rd person view.

Sounds like you've messed with the default keybindings. Normally F5 and F6 are 1st and 3rd person view, and F7 gives you netstats. The console commands "behindview 0" and "behindview 1" do work ingame, though, both while playing and while spectating.

I think this was disabled.

Yes, the "view teammates" was disabled in 1.2 by the dev's.

They trust a man, more than they trust a rat. I'm just sticking with your answear, making it more reliable to others.

The command to take a screenshot is "sshot".
Either use "preferences" or edit your ini file to that:
F9=sshot

You can't do it in preferences. Either edit your ThieveryUser.ini file so that it has "F9=sshot", or while ingame, open the console and type "set input F9=sshot".

In TheiveryUser.ini, find the line that says "F4=<whatever>" and change it to "F4=". I found it's not very helpful to have a key that crashes the program..

You kidding? It's GREAT! Hit it just as a guard is about to kill you, and you can deny him the kill! Then you can blame it on your system crashing, and it's not even a lie!!
