First, i don't want any of you mappers or members to feel offended by this, it is just a suggestion.

Ive played pretty much all of your maps, and they are good, but for some reason they don't really seem to add up to what the official mappers maps did. My suggestion? you are now making so many maps that i don't even have time to dl them all so why don't you slow down and really make some extremely good quality maps that could be used in the 1.3 patch? i just think its such a shame that all these maps are never going to be officialy used or might not be. As i said, its just a suggestion, no offence to anyone. peace

sry that you didn't like the map i made TH-Payback ....but we only made 3 maps!

1. Payback
2. Archery
3.Sword arena


dude we run a thievery map site..the doesn't mean all th emaps on the site are made by us. :roll:

and i did sorta take offence to it seenig how i spent well over 80 hours on my map.

EDIT: not to mention each map is made by a dif person..oh and archery doesn't even have ToB in the name. sword arena was more of a sword training map. so it's basically my map you are talking about :roll: and no it can't make it....it is the first map i EVER made... sword arena= first map assassin mever made
archery= 1st map neo P made...at least for tut..i think it's the first he made also

sry if i sounded harsh but next time get the facts right. i made a map just now. the last TOB map that was made was made over 2 months ago. I'm sry but when u says somethign like that i take offend because you made 2 threads not knowing what you are saying. if you think 2 maps in the last year is a too much ...not to mention by 2 different mapper, then that's you problem. 2nd- they are called user created maps...doesn't mean they must meat up to some pro mappers map's like orgy's (all get there someday..just give me time) i HOST MAPS EVERYONE MADE..no matter if a ToB member made it or not. so if i'm doing something wrong by hosting these maps/ having a mapping site for thievery than well...what can i say?...too bad cause that's what i'm going to do.

god damn..how do i do my chem. with this on my head.... .....and i don't have my shower working so i can't 'cool off' >:( grrrr

Personally I like th-Archery and Th-Payback the only one that
maybe isn't a so called thievery Map is sword arena and there
isn't really anything wrong with it just not a steal things map
but it never ws meant to be.
Nonetheless i personally don't like to play it online but
others might. Just my personal preference.
Now the ones from Japan well....mostly not playable sorry
and also Chiefs new Map I think needs some work.
TOB hosts the maps as a service to the community and I for one
appreciate that. Doesn't mean everyone will like them or put them
in rotation on a server.

I've played through DarkProject's map once on solo (all I've had time to do), and thoroughly enjoyed it. I enjoy that kind of mansion map, and greatly appreciate the work you have put into it!!! :thumb: :D

The only fan maps i've played are paying sins and archery, and both could use some polishing. Fine ideas, but there are some details that substract quite some points and make them less than professional. Why settle down with an ok map when you could do a perfect one?

there is no suchthing as perfect..so why even try :roll: haha... but realy it's the first map i ever made so that can explain it...and i wasn't going for professional..i was going for fun...guess i over did it and had to delete lots of stuff...but nayway my maps should start imporving and eventually i'll get one of them into tut...maybe into the 1.5 patch ;)

I sincirly apoligize dp, I honesly thought all the maps on the tob site were maps created by tob and i do appriciate the effort put into the map and the site. Again i am sorry i jumped to conclusions and i hope your not pissed at me.

i was but i get over things fast... plus the flip icon always helps cheer me up. and i am aware that some maps sux major butt on the site..but it's my job to host them and that's what i do. *cough satellite pack..i made it a pack so you wouldn't need to click 3 times to get 3 crappy maps *uncough

although i did get some ideas from one of them ;) *cough fountain in my map*uncough
