"The Life of Brian" is a Monty Python movie.

What a waste of celluloid. They could pay me the production cost of that movie to watch it, and I'd STILL feel ripped off.

"Brazil" is mine.

Dammit, you stole my poster!

There are a multitude of movies I really enjoy.

The Green Mile is near the top of my list, along with Snatch, Diggstown, Cannonball Run 1 & 2, and The Dirty Dozen. There are more but that's enough of a list from me.

Oh, I'm sorry. Maybe this will appease you.

Oh yes, that was a well plotted piece of deep, meaningful, soulful non-tripe, that didn't make me want to want to wretch my innards into the nearest trashcan.

I'm fickle, so my faves keep changing.

My top 3 for the moment are:

1) Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

2) Sleepy Hollow

3) Jurassic Park

:P

Freaky Alien

I like the Cube movie.

Right, thatīs another fine movie although not many people know it. Besides "Alien", I also love the other movies of the saga, even the fourth part (not as good as the rest). And the two predator movies are also some the best movies I saw, yet. Other good movies are "The Ring" and "Event Horizon".

PREDATOR! How could I forget! (I don't like the second one though :( )

and Sleepy Hollow is VERY VERY good. I have it on DVD. If you liked that, I recommend to see Vidocq! YAY! (It's superb).

And don't forget The Matrix. I'm anxious to see the Matrix reloaded.

"Brotherhood of the Wolf" is a cool movie.

Some of my favs are:

1.LoTR movies-hobbits r0x0r j00 b0x0rs

2.The Mummy(new version)-a lot of action and a pinch of comedy

3.The Matrix-come on,its the matrix!

4.Gladiator-good story and nice fighting scenes

5.Aliens 2-I liked this one better than the others because it focused more on the space marine aspect, and not just 1 puny alien killing 15 people.

6.X-Men-wolverine, enuff said :D

7.Jurassic Park-loved this movie since I was a kid,especially since I was a dinosaur fanatic back then.

and probably a few more I can't think of at the moment.

I think we should start another part, "movies that you thought were gonna kick ass but really sucked." :joking:

1.Resident Evil-I had such high hopes for this,to bad it was pretty much crap :o

Have any of you guys seen the sequel to cube yet? That one is even weirder than the first.

in case some people hadn't been able to figure it out, I'm a horror movie buff. I love me some horror flicks. generally, the goofier the better, although a quality horror flick goes a long way. Some of my personal favorites:

Idle Hands - not obtusely horror, but sort of a comedy/horror.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre - obv
The Ring - Both the american version and the japanese version - the japanese version has the added bonus of a sequel and a prequel
The Audition - In true Japanese movie style, completely boring as fuck for an hour, and totally the most disturbing thing since time began for the last 30 minutes.
Dawn Of The Dead - Zombies + Mall = Profit.
Evil Dead - All of them. AoD was a more of a comedy, but Dead By Dawn was a brilliantly done self-parody.
The Blair Witch Project - I heard about this movie before release and watched it opening day when it was playing at 1 theater in the whole city of Houston (a good month before the nationwide release). The line was around the block, and every show was sold out for two weeks. It was insane.
Versus - Another Japanese flick, this one is totally different. It's a zombie movie a comedy/horror/action/kungfu movie. It was non-stop hilarity from beginning to end. I almost hurt myself laughing during this movie. It makes fun of Zombie movies, and action movies (there was at least one direct Matrix parody), and gangster flicks. And it had some kick-ass fight scenes, to boot.

is no one a fan of star wars????? i know, i'm a total dork, but still! even if you don't take it quite as far as i did (i.e.-i can identify most of the species in the movies, i have a collection of random toys, games, books, etc....including a collectable PLATE, and i pretty much lived and breathed nothing but star wars for a few years.... ), you've gotta at least like it!

p.s.-hehe, don't worry, i've grown out of the star wars obsession for the most part... just a fan now... tho no one will play star wars trivial pursuit with me......

p.p.s.- idle hands WAS good, but the blair witch kind of disappointed me tbh... anyone seen strange days? hokey, but i like it... OOH! can't forget robin hood men in tights and the princess bride :P and newsies... hehe, too many, so i'll shut up now!
