It all started when my bro installed the new Nvidia drivers. Now any thing that uses Direct 3d will not work. I tried reinstalling our old drivers and even find some other ones online, but nothings seems to help. We are running a GeForce 4 Ti4200 on Win XP. Hell even some of the screen savers show up as a box that says "No direct 3d device found"
Can any one help?

Did you try un-installing completely and then re-installing? Make sure your vid card is functioning properly too, maybe the fan broke or something.

What about re-installing DirectX?
Or how about installing DX9 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=A19BED22-0B25-4E5D-A584-6389D8A3DAD0&displaylang=en) since the newest drivers use DX9?
