Servers Down?

I keep getting an error when trying to connect that says something about a main server time out. The server it names is master0.gamespy.com :?

I cant ping this server, but i can ping master1.gamespy.com and master2.gamespy.com (i dont know about 3,4 etc... i havent tried)

i cant figure out if i can change to one of these servers so i can connect and play theivery, or if this would even solve anything.

On my compy it takes bout 2 minutes to find thievery servers. Just be a little patient and keep on pushing F5. When ya find the servers add them to your favourite list, then you'll have them always immediately after running TUT.

Wht it means isthat your selected type of connection (in the Preferences menu) has a time limit for responses that cannot be exceeede. If it is exceeded, then it says (master srever cannot be resloved) or something like that. Usually it's an abherration, and pressing F5 to refresh the menu works.

If not, then make surte your settings are correct.

I like using ASE to find servers. It's much easier to use than UT's default browser.

Same here. I use ASE for all the games I play. CS, HL, UT, TFC, IOS...
