The other thread's closed now, so I'm carrying on here.
As far as I know all my ip's and my subnet are set up as described. Thanks for the info about the connection sharing- I'll switch it off and see what happens. If you see Megadude's server up then you'll know it worked, and you'll be treated like a king if you join.
And Thwark: I'm hardly new to the community, I just haven't posted much. I'm only calling the puritan freaks puritan freaks, not everyone here. :roll:
