When should you use the 'clearcache' command? Not during a game, I woud think. Is it at the score screen? My computer is acting up too much for me latley, and I think this may help.

Also, it would be really nice if the game automatically cleared the cache for me between rounds.

I use "flush" on a couple of maps, when my computer starts to get bogged down but the difference is barely noticeable since redundant crap is automatically removed from the cache to make way for data/files that are needed for the current level

I also turned the clearcache after x days down a bit. I think I set it to 10, but i'm not sure. It helps speed up Thievery I guess.

AFAIK this only affects any maps/files you download when connecting to a server. They are stored in your cache and deleted after so many days so other than hard drive space it saves you nothing...

Are we talking about the game cache, or the cached memory?

I'm referring to the file cache that stores downloaded maps. I ammume Omega meant this when he mentioned clearcache (which by default is 30).

That's probably what Omega meant, but Kiech was referring to something that affects ingame performance, and cached files don't (I think). However, cached memory does.
