So i was playing AS last night, but all the medics had two sets of med packs and a pistol...

What is your question? Many teamplayer medics go with 2 satchels if they think they can come in handy. In a small team you might prefer carrying some extra firepower obviously. -
Fair enough, for the extra healing it would make sense... im kinda new to the online AS comunity. just thinking about it though, i would have thought the firepower would be needed as oposed to 14 heals, especially in a group of four. Hack Hack....Comment

You're right, no need bringing more heals than you use. I'm not a good medic, but I've always felt a responsibilty to keep my mates alive as far as possible if I choose that class. That means I almost always bring two satchels.

I always take med satchel, flamer/shotgun, and a PMK, if someone gets infected due to carlessness then its body bag for them.Comment

I almost always use two satchels + pistol, the pistol is better at keeping aliens dead than a rifle, in my opinion. Might be different for those who can't aim that well, though
The hunter rifle does give me a hard time choosing sometimes...Comment

Medic Gear Solid?
I'll usually take 2 satchels and a pistol (or stims
) if we have a large team or it's a long map. I'll take shotgun satchel stims/gas otherwise.
