I guess I never submitted these runs. According to the rules, I get credit for everything but Flightdeck. Maybe I'll work on that this weekend? Maybe I'll try my Greenhouse run again, too.
Well we all knew that from the start, that the remaining ones would be VERY hard to do. VERY used in the old proper sense, not in the new inflated one.
It is the challenge that drives us, what else.
BTW, I was the 1st to beat Ao-Depot, Carth. Of course, X-newbie also did that, and probably better than me, but I was the first. Why do I not appear in that list?
But apart from that, please keep me from going more into the obsessive reasons why we keep trying this. It is a challenge, as has been rightly said. If ever there was one. To do what no man has done before. To prove that 'insanely hard' still not equals 'impossible'.
For example, I have had several dozens of attempts at Pacman. Wakka wakka. Had it down to about 10 eggs several times, so I WILL beat it if I keep trying.
Same with Underneath. Elvis is a real bitch, but he CAN be beaten.
It is very much like juggling, if you ever tried juggling you will know what I mean: every movement has to be precisely right, else you fail.
I did Box of Doom on insane, once, I think. I think that was the name of the map. The one where you have to hold out for 20 minutes or something while misshapen aliens fall from the ceiling. And I still haven't received credit for Johnsmom.
