    Thievery - Underworld

    Hi all,

    It has been some time since my last update regarding the new models etc for Thievery.

    Well... Im sure by now you all think it was a fly by night project and would never happen.

    For those, you are incorrect, work is continuing and I am please to say the animation issue has become less of a problem.

    Finally getting to grips with the joys of animating the models, or for now model.

    This is going to be an on going project that is basically a labor of love, so please do not nag for release dates as this is a hobby... So bottom line, it will be done when I am happy with it.

    Currently looking to set up a small website regarding this add-on pack, that I have named - "Thievery - Underworld"

    Would love to post a video of the current animation progress, might have to get it onto youtube for you Taffers to see!

    Too much gaming, but if I can manage to keep all my brushes on the grid, I think I can make it work.

    Well the old alpha didn't have any problems to require map changes, however that's not to say that it would be nice to see some map changes made

    Well i actually ran thru it again recently and i kinda thought "All those lights in the city area make it look somewhat sterile and most of the readable stuff isnt that refined and that damn oar is still there and the soundbit while picking up the cookie is broadcast which doesnt seem so good and why doesnt that wine cellar have a door" etc etc. But nah, even if i wanted to, forgot so much if i touched it now it would probably implode into a huge BSP hole or something.

    But seeing as you guys make mini maps and stuff, anything you dont like with Cult, fire up UED and knock yourself out ^^

    Warpzones? Erf. Iirc those portals not working sometimes is a server issue. I think. Mebbe. Dunno >.<

    works in single play fine, but in multi the player normaly gets stuck in the warp zone, and it genrealy kicks all players from the server including the warp zone player, on the same server somtimes it works, somtimes it doesnt, duno why

    I have a lot of things on at the moment, and in the hope to get all the models done and dusted and released I am asking for some assistance.

    Spent the last few evenings rigging and finalising the X-bow, oh the joy!
    Rigging is mind numbing work, but glad to report all went well in the end, what you are looking at here is a test rig, yes it’s animated and working, although I shall re-rig it as I found many things to tweak.

    You may also notice the absence of hands, well, they are there but no visible in the shots. Seem the hands do not fit into view very well, so I may not use them until reloading. Rigging hands is also a royal pain in the rear!
