    Question For Lightfoot Or Sofos

    does the various random spawner require triggering ,i cant get them to work,also is the space engineer server yours.ignore this as i have opened my eyes and found the setting duh

    if it is only the random spawner you need, I would recommend you mylevel just that script.

    if you use it 'as is', your map will have a reference to (and thus dependency on) that AoVarious package with all its recources.

    sofos has included a help-file with his package, explaining what the stuff does.
    also, he has the nice habit of leaving comments inside the code. really helpful sometimes.

    Ok, here is how it works : If you want to have a mesh and make it visible online use the class AoVariousSpawner, that is a subclass of Actor, not class AoRandomVariousSpawner. You can find it in Ued below AoTelicSpawndog or generally in the top of the list. In my case it is the 11th class below Actor.

    AoVariousSpawner has a mesh and can be destroyed if it takes damage bigger or equal with it's health (if health is 0 then it can't take damage). If it is destroyed it won't spawn more, but the mesh will stay there. If you don't want the mesh, but you just want a spawner that spawns randomly 3 different alien types, go to Display --> DrawType and select DT_Sprite and then go to Collision and set the vars there to false. Else an invisble thing will collide with marines and aliens .
    To make it spawn just trigger it, like a normal spawner. If you want aliens to spawn randomly set bRandomMode = true, FAlienClassString is the first alien type, SAlienClassString is the second and TAlienClassString the third.
    Eveything else works exactly like the normal spawner. With class AoRandomSpawner you cannot have the mesh visible online but the rest functionality is there.
    If you have more questions about the package, feel free to ask them here. Also I don't mind giving the code (and other stuff) package with your map, this is why I gave a separate link, but you can also place that code in myLevel as Lightfoot suggested.

    sorted ,also using [obj load file=AoVarious.u package=MyLevel]to embed them in map i will credit you and lightfoot when its done ,if thats ok
