In the \Unreal Tournament\System folder you can find ThieveryEd shortcut

That is what you need, create a shortcut for UnrealEd and add the commandline option -ini=Thaux.ini

    Do you have Thievery installed?

If so, a shortcut is created in the Thievery folder for the Thievery editor.
Give some taffer fire, and you'll keep him warm for the night with one less reason to cause trouble for the master.
Set a taffer on fire, and he will be warm for the rest of his life, and have no need to bother the master.

Make shortcut to "UnrealEd.exe" and put "-ini=Thaux.ini" after "...\UnrealTournament\System\UnrealEd.exe" in shortcut preferences.

To clarify what I said above, I meant the thievery folder found under the Start Menu programs listing, not the Unreal Tournament hard drive folder. It is the shortcut Bandit describes, just pre-made. There is also a handy link to the offline mapping docs there.

I got my copy of the game in a winrar folder with UnrealEd for Unreal Trounament, but it's not loading any maps. I didn't install Thievery, so I don't have the link on my start menu. How can I install it instead?

in order to load thievery maps, you need the thievery editor, so you have to install thievery first.

doh... What he does mean is, he has sort of portable ut/tut version packed in archive.

What you need is: create a shortcut of unrealed.exe, in shortcut you have to add this: UnrealEd.exe INI=ThAux.ini

now you'll have thievery unreal editor.

    Exclamation :chase::wolfe:

And what if that doesn't work? I tried something like that last night but it didn't work. Maybe I erased an extra letter or added one. Is there a way I get just get the setup thing to actually install Thievery instead of the zip folder?

And where would I put "UnrealEd.exe INI=ThAux.ini"? I was just told to add the "INI=ThAux.ini". Would I put a space between the exe and INI like you did?

    Install in UnrealTournament directory:
    1. UT 4.36 No-Delta Patch
    2. ThieveryUT v1.6
    3. Run ThieveryUT editor from start menu.

I got the thing installed, but I think I'm missing the INI=ThAux.ini or INI=ThAux.int file. I added it to the shortcut target with and without a space between exe and INI, but both times it doesn't work. What should I do, step by step to solve this problem?

Send me a message if you can please. Thanks for the help everyone.
