Unfortunately, for something like that, you'd probably need an east and/or a west team. I sure wouldn't want to play insane EFR with 225 ping...not that I was invited, from that above list.

The above list isnt an invitation moose, just Felix's sense of dreamteam.
And you know that dreamteams are usualy an epic failure.
    As for yer ping...Adapt

Below theres a proof that teamplay can do magic against all odds
We just done Beggars on hard with only 4 ppl, actualy 3 for chatzi died before start of countdown.

NA crew got together later and played some.
    Dunno why there's no sound.
I'm also not sure why we stood around the pit for so long.

It's probably better like this, without my voice recorded!

I just found out about, and promptly downloaded Alien Swarm. What time zone are most people still playing in? I'm east Canada.... GMT-5 I believe.

However, considering I shot the face off my medic with my newly acquired shotgun in the tutorial, I likely require some additional offline training first.

TuF are planning to get in on the action this Thursday and we usually start our gaming nights at 8pm GMT. That's about the time I see the regular Swarm crew start to appear as well so anything after 3pm up until 7pm or beyond your time should find someone online.

Don't worry about shooting medics, that was the first thing I did when I got back in the saddle the other week and no-one seemed to mind (except the medic )

Thanks. Just so long as there is an understanding that there is a good chance someone will be getting shot in the face .

I definitely seem to have a twitchy trigger finger in this game. When aliens started coming down from the ceilings on me I had a bit of a "Hudson" moment.

Awesome. I'm a Toronto boy, but I think we can still get along .

I am super psyched from what I've played of this game so far. Not sure if I'll get on this week, but maybe next week a bit more for anyone still keeping it alive. I'm trying to convince a buddy to grab AS too.

TuF actually skipped this last night as the only server with enough slots available was one with modded GIGANTOR aliens and it wasn't really conducive to teaching peeps how to play the game.

    We'll probably try again Monday.

    Mutants on the bounty!

uhm sorry, must be those 'invisible' bugs you mean. They also did some sort of camoflage, and were quite hard to kill?

'mutate alienreset' at the console (by leader and at briefing) would have ended that spook.

To read about this and other options, there is an ingame help screen coming with the mutator. 'mutate optionhelp' brings it up.

The alien variations normally make the game harder, but there is also features that make things easier for the team. Special equipment, more stims etc. But I admit, all those small additions do of course add complexity, a thing that may not be wished for when there is many rookies in the team.

    ---

Shame, I was looking forward to playing with you TUF guys. Another day, then.

I was hoping we could have swapped servers with you, i wish i'd taken the time to ask you. Also we had the creator of the mutator causing that with us, lightfoot &co, next time do come ask him to help. Anything to get rid of him.

EDIT: I should post instead of going afk for ages.

  22. #52
Thanks lightfoot. I guessed there would be some way to change the mutator options.

I'm fairly certain we'll give it another go on Monday.

    Any other excuses?
Im sure they all will be heard by the court, seconds before the execution squad's firing sound.

Didn't you get the message from sick bay? Every bed was full, maybe it was something that had been served at Joe's Crabshack the night before.

...oh, being sick is no excuse?

(I just hope that as trained marines we are too valuable to be shot...)
