XP gain on custom maps

So, did you notice this one? Last night (well, eurotime that is) AS patched with "Allow XP gain on custom maps". I recall a lot of people wanting this feature so it should make a hefty difference.

Unless this too is somehow tied with the emergence and resurrection of GlaDOS...
