So what is the concensus for just having some friendly guild matches aye? In talking to FixXxer and Dragon recently. They had some fun on their recent venture with EDG and that match. It was fun for all. Matches haven't been held for various reasons by the guilds, that's fine. A thought popped into my head about this, in talking to the guys. How about just some friendly games? No outcomes in the end, besides the obvious, winning and loosing, just some friendly games, keep the juices following so to speak. Just to have some fun, it's not done enough in my opinion. Just a suggestion. Questions, concerns, thoughts, make fun of me, laugh at me, tell me this sucks, poke me with a cattle prod, or you just love my idea. Go to it.

The standard match rules might be considered for this.

    Sounds like fun. Really.

Our guild hasn't had a real match yet, would be cool...

Especially with all those splinters the crates would turn into.

What a shame that all of your members but one will be immobile in NightBlade.

mobil? Is he/she new? Or does mobil play under a different name?
Give some taffer fire, and you'll keep him warm for the night with one less reason to cause trouble for the master.
Set a taffer on fire, and he will be warm for the rest of his life, and have no need to bother the master.

Me and Phae have had friendly matches one on one. They've had the same struture of official matches, as well. Only we never made a big deal out of any of them. They were great fun, though.

That's what was said in the NightBlade forums. Remember, there was that whole fuss over the lack of interactivity in NightBlade that Thievery has? C'mon, surely you remember all that.

What was said was: "There won't be any crates using karma physics."

The only server settings that were edited for the friendly were,

The maps to what we had chosen.

    The AI to Genius.

and the server name to say what an awful person chainsaws is (tho i admit i changed it back but he came in after we had been waiting for one of our members aliasing as that member :x )

After all it was all light hearted and in good fun (especially those TuF speccing me and tears of grief from those edg speccing me) and we gained FixXxeR as our latest member to [E.D.G] but that's still in the making

TuF aren't the only guild we asked a friendly for (preperations for the other is underway-FAG if you're wondering) after all everone loves to see chief drown

It was said that crates wouldn't be frobbable. I guess that's not the same as being unmoveable, but moving them becomes a real pain then.

So, when I summon a rocket launcher and blast them, they'll go flying?

yea just wondering, I never really saw people do much with the movable objects in TUT except object stack and smash them. What kind of things will we be able to do in NB?

I'll accept, should be fun, although I expect to lose horribly. ^_^ I have midterms this week -- just got back from rocking the first one -- but maybe this weekend.
