    i have, it doesn't work. you cannot use dmix for this, because you cannot use the libalsaoss-emulation for TS. ts accesses the devices via fopen(), so you have to have the kernel-layer emulation. but this again will block one dsp completely.
    my onboard-sound say it has two dsp, but in fact, the second one ist blocked, if you occupie the first.

    actually, there is another beta-patch. 3339. according to epic and icculus, this will become another final-patch.

    just for the statistics: i skipped the 3338-beta, which was released for about 24h before being replaced with 3339 . 3337 was never officially released.

    somebody has to explain those numbers to me ...

    Thanks for the info. However I already succumbed and switched back to Windows to play some other games.
