    TW3 : Mutants vs. Mockers - Move 1 - Breakout

    Ok times for the match!

My availibility (up to the 14th) :
Weekdays : 7pm -> 10:30 pm GMT (friday is later, till about 1am)
Weekends : Sunday is the best for me, normally between 11am GMT till 10pm GMT. Saturday possible if notice given, same times.

What are the other mutant times and most importantly...THE MOCKERS times.

I need a bit of time to discuss this with the rest of mockers, I'll try to get you the time slots to you asap.

Clarification: the 5 required timeslots are only for if you guys can't agree on a match time any other way. You've got 3 days to work it out before that rule kicks in.

I think its a good system nonetheless, going away and suggesting a number of times your team can make it and hopefully the other team can meet one of those.

On Sundays 11am GMT is a possibility, a bit late for the Aussie lads. However that might be a good time for us as well.

I don't have Internet access at home (having just moved) until another 5 - 10 working days. I may be able to play from somewhere else if it's on a weekend, though, or late on a weekday (between 9am and 2pm GMT, which is probably highly useless).

I could do a Sunday. 11am GMT -> 9pm start for me. It'd be 10pm for Glads, but he's a uni student so I'm sure he'll manage, and Rodent's a complete bum currently. It'd be 12 midday for Louie and Ooze. That seems to be the best plan at this stage, pending times from the other Mutants and any corrections/confirmations from our blokes.

Since I'm GMT +1 I have no problems making GMT times at all.
Weekdays are good for me (mostly) , Friday and sunday is also good,
    Not saturday. (working late)

So... we're leaning towards 11AM GMT this Sunday? Making it 9pm/10pm for the Aussies, and midday for the Swedes.

11am this Sunday? Hmmm, I'm leaning toward 12 (1 hour later myself) What are other peoples thoughts?

Also server decision, I take it you guys want to play on Crackaz?

Also! Voice comms, are you guys using if so you using your own our TuFs? We'll be on TuF. If your on your own we'll need the address to spec.

EDIT : Actually 11am should be fine, can as many mutants as possible come for this time for roster selection and speccing games / teamspeak.

Were we to use our own TS server vs TuF's, would our messages get through faster due to smaller distances? If that's the case, we'd probably host our own.

We'll definitely want to play on Crkz (or TuF pub )

Crackaz would be ideal for us and we'll be using our own TS server for less time lag. Address is: mockers.serverbeer.com

Understandable, we'll have somebody there to spec with a bit of luck.

Not that I think anybody will but it would remove any shadow of a doubt if we did, we may need to disable whispers between players to ensure nobody can speak between each other. It's a simple server option.

I don't at all think this will happen even if we don't switch it off because I have great respect for everyone playing, but it's an idea. If your unsure how to do, I can advise.

Server permissions can be checked by anybody logged into a TS server.

Errm, I meant ToB pub in that post above.

But anyway... should be looking good.

Our spectator + TS listener will be monolith, he won't be registared on your TS, so we'll be grateful if you can let him stay in the channel for the match.

Good, then it appears we have a team for a 11am - 12pm GMT Start time. Is this acceptable? A later time will probably be ok too Sunday is a lazy day for us lot...

Failing that would same time next week be acceptable?

Edit : Mono can register, it takes 2 minutes if that, that way he can have rights on the server too.

Shall we make it so that we do NOT have to wait for the other team? In the few matches I have played I atleast waited 2 or 3 times for the other team to show up. This is getting annoying. Of course sometimes you can't do anything about it, but if possible come in time?

Yes Phae, this match is in an area of the day called "the morning" you may not have heard of this concept before...

Agreed it is annoying when the other team is late, it's happened to me too but I've played in a fair few in TUT. But lets not get hissy just yet!!

    Mutants won, 2 - 0

The first round the mutants played against a defensive Mockers team. While spamming our offensive mutant binds we DMed the mockers back to australia ( except ooze, he was DMed back to Sweden ). While getting the 600 loot we DMed our way into the exit, mutants granked it.

Second round, mutants faced an offensive round this time. While killing a few mutants badly the mockers slowly backed up to the doors. After some time the mocker fell back to one member. The mutants got a free breakout all for themself and slowly looted everything. Mutants granked it again.

    In short:

    - Both rounds we DMed our way out of the cells.
    - Both rounds we DMed our way up the stairs.
    - Both rounds we DMed our way to the loot.
    - Both rounds we DMed our way to the win.

ps: Don't mind the overflow of "DM" in this post. It must be all the adrenaline that's still in my body

The DNA infection has taken Breakout. Great games mockers, high quality players both sides. I'm sure we will meet again on the battlefield!

Mutants played efficiently and deady, the map dynamics made it difficult to defend against the assault. The AI gave me the shits lol. two Intense and entertaining matches, with a great turnout from both teams.
The mockers look forward to our next encounter. GGs.

Did anyone get any screenshots? The mutant team forgot to take any ... and I forgot to even look at the scores.
