    ThieveryUT an EAX game??

Why is ThieveryUT listed on CreativeLabs list of EAX enabled games? TUT is a mod not a game per say

I don't see Thief : Deadly Shadows on there,
maybe they got confused and put ThieveryUT rather than Thief3.

Its under "featured games" instead of the list. I gotta say its kinda odd really.

I noticed that a while back. I figured they thought it was another game in the thief series.

We were actually a registered developer with Creative. They sent us various tools to EAX up the Thievery levels. However, there's a strange bug in the EAX implementation of UT which makes certain samples go wrong. I can't remember the specifics now, whether the sounds wouldn't play, or whether it would crash UT. Either way, we didn't end up building EAX spaces around all the maps because of this.

If I recall, there were crashes if any of the sound samples weren't in a very specific sound format, and we also didn't have much time to actually add the EAX zones to the maps with the Creative tools anyway.

We ended up using UT's standard reverb settings for large hallways etc.
