    A dark project is complete

    For a long time now I have been working on this. It is a way which I can carry, and use the large quanitity of electronic devices I now own. Today, I finished it and did the final tests. It works, and is way more impressive then I first thought. I'll get some photo's of the completed project in a day or two as well.

    Surely your going to use something a bit more stylish than a trenchcoat... what happens when it gets round to summer?

    Okay, I cannot explain convict connection error (try the link in my sig please, and tell me what happens when you do that.), but I can explain Fixxers point. Simply, you try to fit this project into a smaller area. There's room for expansions too.

    There's something wrong with your DNS settings I recon. Try removing the 'www' in the address.

    EDIT: www.decompiled.billiau.net can't be resolved by my DNS server at all. Either use the addresse without 'www', or change your DNS settings (which I guess you can't since this is a free host?)

    Well, it actually belongs to my family. Billiau is my last name. I do not run it however, and we have had a lot of trouble with DNS for this server before. BUt it's a bit hard for me to check for problems, because I connect to it with a local network.

    Well, if you can get someone to access the DNS settings, be sure to check that;

    decompiled.billiau.net -> 203.23.200.56 (this is already working)
    www.decompiled.billiau.net -> 203.23.200.56

    EDIT: Wtf, now it actually works. o_O

    I'm actually considering buying a trechcoat anyway (heh, it'd go great with my ugly face), but it doens't take that much to mod it into computer-hauling clothing. Anyways, the major worry with that would be the weight.

    My major worry would be walking around in an intimidating piece of clothing that has mysterious lumps I wore a long grey mac a couple of winters ago and got lots of school shooting jeers.

    A related site- from what I hear, not to bulky even with all the gear.

    Bit expensive mind you, and I do not think have trenchcoats yet.
    Give some taffer fire, and you'll keep him warm for the night with one less reason to cause trouble for the master.
    Set a taffer on fire, and he will be warm for the rest of his life, and have no need to bother the master.

    Decompiler, please don't leave us hanging about the status of your project.

    In order to keep up interest, let's have a contest to name the new garment. Decompiler can choose the winner and runners-up (after all, it's his coat).

    Here are the first submissions:

    BrainCoat

    HackerJacket

    Just add some Securetech nano-carbon fabrics, a red monocle with a crosshair, and run about jacking into ethernet ports and ATM machines.

    The future is now!

    Hanging? It's finished. I just don't have it at the moment. I get it back monday afternoon, and then you get to see it. I like the idea of a competiotion to name it though, I never came up with anything good for that.
