Thief III to be packaged with Editor?

Will Thief III be packaged with an editor? From what I understand, Thief III's engine is based on DeusEx 2's engine, which is based on UT03's engine. Why not tailor Nightblade for T3 instead of UT03? Or can it be ported over to T3 easilly?

This has already ben asked several times, I can't remember Dalai's exact answer though.

I think it's that T3 is a specialised, smaller market whilst many more people will own UT2k3.

Anyway, there's a good reason behind it.

Thief 3 isn't being made to support multiplayer... And with all the custom stuff ISA has added to the engine (Which has only been made for singleplayer), it's not going to be easy to implent multiplayer... If it's even possible.

I really hope they make a co-op patch for it like SS2. I will personally beg them for one.

Well, hopefully not like SS2. I mean, it would be nice if your teammates didn't appear to move through walls and fly above the ground. Also, less save game corruption would be nice too. And a players eye-height shouldn't be at the middle of their chests.

Actually, this was on a LAN. Their netcode really sucks.

System Shock 2. Awesome scary Sci-Fi game from Looking Glass.

Well... awesome once you look up online how to modify an ini file for it so that the badguys don't respawn and your weapons don't break every two clips.

hm. Maybe I'll install it and play it again tonight instead of working.

given that Ion Storm completely rewrote the Unreal rendering engine the only reason i can see for them using the Unreal system is for the editing tools, so hopefully they will release them to the community with the game.
