Ini files problem with multi ucc instances

Hi,

I have a UT2004 server on my debian. It uses the ut2004.ini (in the UT2004/System/) file.
To launch it i use a runserver.sh.
I want to install a AlienSawarm server on the same server, it will use AlienSwarm.ini (in the UT2004/System/). To launch it i will use runserveras.sh
./ucc-bin server AO-rescue.ut2 ini=AlienSwarm.ini -mod=AlienSwarm

OK...

The problem is the AlienSwarm server uses the ut2004.ini...
COuld you help me?
Thanks a lot

Are you missing the dash? The command should read '-ini=YourIniFile'

I read on a lot of tutorial website with - and without. I put it originally. I tested with and without. Same result.

Also take a peek in the Linux Server Guide I wrote. (Which seems a bit dated, but still useful enough...)

Make sure that you're pointing to the file in your home directory (which should be ~/.ut2004/AlienSwarm/System/*.ini and not wheveryouinstalledthegame/AlienSwarm/System/*.ini)

What's the exact location of the ini file you want to use and what do you use to launch the server?

Yes i didn't very well explain.

UT2004 is installed in /home/UTserver3369b
Alien Swarm in /home/UTserver3369b/AlienSwarm
The run sh file in /home/UTserver3369b/System
So i use -ini=../AlienSwarm/System/AlienSwarm.ini
Its right no?

Wild guess, should you be using '-nohomedir' (if the configuration files are not in your home directory).

Perhaps if you attach the server log it will shed some light on the problem..

Should be called ucc.log.

Is it in ~/.ut2004/System/ucc.log
