Inspired by a game last night:

Whistler blocking vent
CrouchingDork's plaintive lament,
"OMG, Lamer!"

It's a structured form of poetry. Japanese in origin.

Line 1 has five syllables.
Line 2 has seven syllables.
Line 3 has five syllables.

And usually the topic is some natural event or phenomenon, or the poem comments on some aspect of existence/life/being.

"Today, a flower.
Tomorrow, a rotting husk.
How uncertain, life."

A number of people have taken to writing computer related haiku as well, as the sentiments often expressed are somewhat melancholy in tone, and express what some people feel at the problems they encounter with computers.

Mistake - "format C:"
Electronic, spinning whir.
Your data is gone.

First, five syllables,
Followed by seven further,
Then, another five.

Truly stated thus
A true poet I am not
Thus no rhyme from me

Haiku need not rhyme.
Just five, then seven, then five,
Is the form one takes.

I did not say that
I said that firespamming sucks
and that I was stuck.

Oh, and I put out those torches in the apartments for a REASON, btw. I was planning to try and let my teammate in to get me supplies, but he died. I was making sure that I'd be OK if the guards got in.

There once was a troll
A jolly old troll
Looking for an DMin rush

He spammed the forum
All thievery forums
Offering treasures lush

He got to the room
In the dark dank tomb
And then commenced to wail

When the great big FAG
That firebolt bag
Charged the troll with "OMG WTF LAG"

That demonic beast
That thief eating beast
Promptly owned the troll with glee

His approach? The latest
His AI? The Greatest
"Float like butterfly, sting like bee!"

Wate, can't you pronounce UnrealED with 4 syllables? Un-re-al-ed?

The word "real" is typically pronounced as a single syllable, so I'd pronounce UnrealEd as three.
