Anyone want to help a UT2004 mod that's part way through?

I just bought Carmageddon 2000 TDR and it won't work. Which is another thread I may bring up...

However there are some people making an UT2004 mod, basically Carmageddon but optimised for multiplayer using UT2004. Apparently Eidos scrapped Carmageddon 4

Seems like a good project with a lot of it already done but why not go and register there and offer your UT2004 skills if you are interested (and qualified).

Yea, I tried playing my old carmeggedons too, and they just don't work with XP. Maybe someone out there has a fix for that, but ah well, I think I through away the discs.

2000 TDR is a turd. Never had problems playing the first one on XP tho. If ya Download the Splat Pack and "relink" its exe to the old Carmageddon you can even play it with fancier graphics, might help with the starting problems too - iirc. Has been awhile.

That Mod looks VERY interesting, hope they pull this off.

Carmageddon 2 was so broken and wonderful! You could make trains and elephants glitch in the most delightful ways and take demos of it!
