Post here if you play Halo. I want to know who all plays Halo, either the full thing (legal or cracked), or the trial version.

I played it, finished it (last 3 levels on cheats). Good game but boring at the end of the game.

Beautiful Graphics, Bumpmaping and stuff. A bit choppy, but I heard that 2nd patch fixed that.

Is this a threat to start a HALO clan of TUT players?
Answer to question: Yes I play HALO too, online is really funny, jeep dodging is a lot of fun

how long is the halo single player? I just played Call of Duty and was reallllllllllly disappointed. 8-10 hour long Single Player, the enviornment was noninteractive. No openable doors, and bullets go right through objects without breaking them. The game was really easy. The online multiplayer is nothing special, just DM, TDM, and 2 counterstrike ripoff style game modes.

I've got it on Xbox, no need to spend 50 bucks just for online multiplayer.

I'm thinkin about getting into it (I'm a lurker on these forums, but you might see me in game occasionally )...I downloaded the trial but it just didn't feel right after learning and loving halo on the box. Who knows though, you might see me around.

It's short, but has some reallly sweet parts... And sadly some repativ parts. But it's a must play.
Besides, multiplayer is pure ownage.

my internet connection has been down since august. i bought homeworld 2 and halo in the time since, and havent played either online. last week my connection was fixed -- i play halo daily now. i love the fuel rod gun! i come back on the TUT forums, and there is a warm little thread waiting for me about the subject.

oh yeah, and i played DX for the first time to see why DXIW will be good.

Damn. Just saw the introduction movie. All I can say is: If the rest of the game was done with a comparable amount of effort as was put into it - It's god. God on earth.

Check out the Halo 2 trailer. It's AMAZING. It's supposedly going to be the game that pushes Xbox's limits to the max.

MB, hop in my warthog and I'll show you some driving skills. I like getting a full warthog and then pulling 360's and flipping enemy warthogs.

Fixxxer, Big D... go on IM or something, I added you. I'd like to play with you guys, get some good teamwork going.

Halo single player RULES. It's so immersive, I get jumpy at certain parts (and most horror movies don't even phaze me). Once you beat it on easy, you still have three more difficulty levels to beat, making it way more fun (good luck with ledgendary).

I like getting a full warthog and race across the top of Death Island, and do a 360-1024jump down to the enemies beach with gunner firing in random directions... BANZAII!1
Sometimes i'm surprised at how effectiv this tactic is for getting the flag...

Skillfully racing trough the ice part of ice fields is another favorit trick of mine... Or, camping the bridge and do precision explosions of charging enemy warthogs, sending the flying just over my head.... I move for no one.

I like running into warthogs and making them fly into the air. Then I turn around and chase them down for when they bail out, and crush em all.

Yesterday I was on infinity when I did a 360, smashing into an enemy warthog 30 feet above ground, while my rocketeer soon blew the crap out of him... mid-air.

It was amazing.

Whenever me and my friends play Capture the Flag, we always play big 5 on 5 or 8 on 8 games. (X-Box, I don't have the PC version yet) I always play the role of the guy who camps the flag...no one else has the patience! I just tell them they would have my camping skills if only they played Thievery. I sit in the flag room with the shotgun, ready and waiting for any intruders, and then blast them away before they can do any harm.

When they say, "You're flag-guarding skills rock, man," I just tell them that Thievery rocks.

I've had Halo since the day it came out for xbox and still find a bunch of people having system link games, I like how it creates communities like that (usually consisting of 16 people or less )

I really liked the screenshots I saw of the new outdoor levels in the PC version, wish they'd release a pack of those for the 'box. Though I suppose someone will probably figure out how to transfer them using a modchip eventually, especially when they release the devpack. Making maps for Halo would be fun

I downloaded a pirated version, whipped through legendary mode, then got caught so I had to delete it. Multiplayer wasn't bad so I might decide to buy it.
