UETF Chronicles is cool, but unfortunately I only get an old
"Prelude" singleplayer version + its multiplayer patch ( which is like two or three versions behind the latest version and supposedly has some bugs and misses lots of the later features ) to run.
Decker is a cool little desktop game, someone hax me more roguelike/RPG bits into it.

Er, yes so there's not much new stuff. But here's what stood the test of time:
    Incursion
Gearhead 1 + 2, The UnReal World, ADOM, IVAN
    Roguelikes ftw
    ---
    MagMa2 & Apprentice
    Still up for Neoshock games

Not releasing the supposedly done patches to Killing Floor 2.5 bugs ASAP makes baby Jesus cry for ages btw.

I found two new (to me) critical gaming blags which I'd like to share:

hitselfdestruct.com is your first and best source for all of the information you’re looking for. From general topics to more of what you would expect to find here, hitselfdestruct.com has it all. We hope you find what you are searching for!

The former's early posts are frequently about Thief, Planescape: Torment, and Deus Ex, so you should find yourself in good company.

Ooh, Duncan has written stuff for my employer before. He's a good chap, and did this absolutely excellent thing

He also wrote a few things for the mostly quiet Idle Thumbs recently.

Hey Swarmers, this might interest you, as its kind of Alien Swarm with another setting and the usual FPS view.

^ Got it to work, instructions:
              Clickey!
              It's worth the (mild) hassle.

EDIT: ^ The linked to post has been edited as I forgot a little thing.

So some atoms colliding at lightspeed make a black hole destroying the world why?

                      Layman terms plx

Also has this any speculative applications in weapon technology, like some gun with 27 kilometres pipe attached to it which can destroy tanks with atoms?

It's likely micro black holes will form, but these will be so small they won't be self sustaining (assuming Hawkings correct), and will dissipate in femto seconds!

Well-done. Even if they were relatively massive enough to sustain for a little while, their cross-section would still be so minuscule as to probably not hit any (or any significant amount) of particles as it fell towards and oscillated around the Earth's core.

I'm more worried about this (NSFW).

Well, it seems we live another day (with no blackholes or dimensional invasions). Apparently the first test was a success.

They's test individual rings, but I don't think they've actually smashed any particles together....yet.
