  • Wow! Great game - Feedback

This game is truly amazing. It has a simple to learn, hard to master gameplay that is right on target. Level design is fantastic (maybe a bit dark) and the campaign is fun and varied. RPG elements are present but not overburdening and the loadout options are interesting and all practical. Music is a classic tribute to James Horner and the voice acting is top-notch, especially the in-party banter. Co-op? Fantastic in every way. You guys truly understand what makes a fun game and have produced an incredible product!

    1) allow servers to set FF damage to a %
    2) reduce the autotracking on the minigun to make it less uber
    3) bring up the pic of the marine who is talking when using voice comm
    4) tweak sentries
4a) add laser sight to sentry showing their facing
    4b) add light to sentry; green = >50% ammo, yellow = 50%> ammo, red = 0%
4c) allow sentries to be reloaded
    5) remove the 6 player limit from all maps
    6) add at least one medkit (for medics) to each map
    7) brighten the minimum light level in all maps by 10~15%
    8) allow medics to cure parasites, on fire status, etc instantly at any level upon using a medpack
    9) increase the brightness of the flashlight by 15%
    10) create server toggle to allow dead marines to come back to life in campaign mode
    11) when a marine calls for a medpack, show the location of the nearest medic with a green arrow in the side of the screen. the reverse should also happen for medics.
    12) allow players to deselect their marine and let the AI take over (for extended periods of overwatch)
    13) add a "last marine" button to complement the "next marine" button

      3) Like this idea.
      4) Sounds cool
      5) It's 8, btw.
      7) But i might then have to lower my gamma!
      8) Seems fair to me as is, if anyone could heal it who would be afraid of parasites...
      9) Hasn't bothered me so far, maybe it'd get better if they brightened the game...
      13)Try using the 1,2,3,4 keys.

No, some maps only allow 6 marines to play, no matter how many players are present. (unless this is a bug of some kind)

And I use the 1,2,3,4 keys, but it seems silly to have a next marine button and not a last marine button...

I think some of you marines were injured or dead, why only 6 were allowed.

Hell i dont even use next marine but, it isn't even bound.

We were playing on single mission mode, not campaign. PLayers could only select 6 marines. The 7th and 8th players could click on a marine but the "select marine" button was not present. As players removed marines, previously hidden "select marine" buttons would appear.

I don't see why you are being argumentative. Just because you don't use next and last marine buttons doesn't mean that other people don't.

I kinda like the idea of the colored LED on the sentry to tell you the ammo status as an aesthetic addition, but for practicality's sake, you can just stand next to it and see how much ammo it has.

I guess if you were somehow forced to be away from it and you had no way of getting near it the LED would have a functional purpose, but I've never found myself in that situation.
