3236 patch and Alien Swarm

How does the 3236 patch affect Alien Swarm, because before you needed the 3204 patch to run Alien Swarm... I don't want to install anything that will break Alien Swarm.

Alien Swarm runs with 3236 although I have noticed the game tends to crash if you browse for servers while you are currently in one in 3236.

Well. It didn't totally kill things, so I installed it on general principle.

And also, you can still play without troubles on 3204 servers, so... unless someone comes up with a game destroying bug caused by 3236, no reason not to install it, I suppose.
