Ok ppl this is where ill be posting updates on my new maps progress.

ok heres how this map is gonna look:
8-player map 8 players are needed to play to fullest...
1 player starts at dropship.
other players are in captive cells and are being guarded by Swarm...
Free players need to hack a panel to release the captive.
the swarm resistance will increase after each cell.
when the last comp is hacked a Spawner will start to spawn a LOT of swarm at the dropship and the doors to the dropship will be opened.
all players need to get back as fast as possible because the faster they are the smaller wil be the army that awaits you...
(there will be a spawner that will spawn a total of 10.000 aliens so i guess you hurry) ok when you get there you need to fight off the aliens and get to the dropship as fast as possible...
end..
ok now im gonna start mapping.

<Immortius> I assume with 7 people starting as "prisoners" that there is very quickly only one marine (and a LOT of parasites). Otherwise there's something wrong here.

i think you get the idea wrong...
you NEED 8 ppl
otherwise it could occur that u all start in a cell and tadaa a fuckup
but they are guarded by swarm the swarm are infront of the panel that needs to bee hacked
then 2 pairs of doors open: one pair of the cell and one where the panel is and between those doors is the escape route for the prisoner to the free guy(s).

Why not swap around the player spawn spots so that the first person spawns at the dropship and then the rest start spawning in the cells? So you can get any size game going.

Because (as far as I know) there's no way to say "first guy goes here". It's just PlayerStart, PlayerStart, PlayerStart...

this map is gonna suck if the solo marine dies or is AFK.

I think it sounds good.

You should keep the map to yourself until you can make more and put them all into a campaign together. I'm sure it will be a bigger hit if part of a campaign.

make sure the "guarding" swarm dont start bashing the celldoors open ...

ill make the doors unbashable
then the aliens cant bash the door down
and besides there will be a hallway between the cell and the aliens and that hallway will have 2 doors: one at each side
but it wouldnt be fun anyways if always the same player is the one to start and then the one in the last cell would always have to wait a f*cking long time

Why should the Swarm imprison fully armed Marines?

the Swarm wouldn't but Syntek would
they have somehow implanted aliens with little chips so they obey them...
and about the full armed part...
they needed to destroy this facility becaus of the obedience part
but when they got nearer the rest got beamed out of their ship by syntek but the free person was in the shitter at the mom so he(she) didnt get beamed up

I think i do . The Marines where trapped by Syntek for use in their Swarm-Experiments.
Why not drop parasites into the cells then regulary to make it a bit more "entertaining" for the Prisoners?

hmmz yeh good idea
ill make a couple of spawners near each cell wich will be reset when a new control panel is unlocked
i hope though that the guy in the last cell isnt a medic with only one pistol
ill just drop in some pistol ammo in each cell
that couldnt hurt

And ppl don't worry about the first guy...
the first prison is very near
and ill be dropping a hacking tool near the first panel(ok i know it wouldnt happen but hey if one of those F*ckers refuses to take a hacking tool with them then what?
...
then it would take quite some time for the panels to be hacked
(time is set for 25 secs)
hacking tool normally cuts that in half
