THey are called tiggers

U place the button (info - ouseables - buttonpanel) the u go to mission objective and add countdown timer then u go to event and add button panel to the tigger. SO when the button is pressed the timer will start

i am a noob mapper so i dont know where everything is. but i know that is easy to do.

get unreal mapping tutrials form the dvd version and then u learn all the basics

I know there are some brief tutorials on the site and they did help.. but it would be nice if you had some more in depth tutorials on how you did some of these missions. id like to add a button to the end of one of my maps that starts a countdown, in wich you have to survive till the time is up. stuff like that =)
