    Yep im sorry to say it to you guys but your fears have come true.
    I am making a map for ASw but its nothing like that last one im hoping to make it much better(ie. Water, bridges stuff like that, maybe terrain) I have only worked on it for 5 mins but i have a pretty clear idea what the map is gonna be like.
    Just wondering what static mesh package is the alien swarm stairs in i cant find them!

    The Alien Swarm stairs eh? I have no idea what you're talking about, but presuming you do, look in a map that has said stairs, and check the properties of them to see the package and mesh

      As usual i hit a snag, my lighting effects aint working. I made one of me lights a pulse type and it works fine on the editor but in-game it doesnt work at all. Is there something else i have to do apart from when you go into the light properties>Lighting. Then you click the drop down box on light type and click the one you want?

        Don't use the dynamic light effects. They're buggy and they don't look good.

          Be sure to use plenty of annoying colored lighting though. Try hot pink blended with areas of chartreuse.

            Might I suggest that brightly coloured, flashing, spinning emitters might better serve that purpose...

              This map is gonna take ages for me to make cause im wanting it to be my best ASw map so far so im gonna import my designs from 3d max and add im gonna try fiddle around with the triggers and water and stuff. Im adding in cool little cameras that show you a different part of the map on a little box thing. Only problem is what parts am i gonna show

                It'll be a challenge to do better than the masterpiece that is AO-Deadandlovingit, aka the map you thought it wasn't necessary to test before releasing it... even once...

                  WEll im now working on me own custom stairs, i thought i may as well make fancy ones but for some reason ucc make doesnt work in the alien swarm system so im gonna have to do it threw ut2004 system and then someway get my map to take it. It should work...

                      How about giving that camera a 90 counter clockwise degree rotation? I think I might get a headache looking at the corridor sideways...

                        ....why did you look threw my gallery?
                        I can make the camera a 90 degree rotation just do you mean all the time moving or just flip it the other way round?

                          I meant something kinda like this. Just rotate it so that the view isn't sideways, don't have it constantly spinning.

                              I saw a map that looked like it might be for Rocket Arena(or whatever it's being called anymore), was that your Invasion map? The one with the ramps?
