      ugh, thought i put AS behind me all those years ago... though it's hard to come back when there are no servers going... anyway, heard about the release when i noticed a friend was playing it... surprised the hell out of me. So played a bit, found a bug... reloading ammo satches.

        I miss being able to platform.

        Only bug I encountered 'other than the intended kind' was getting knocked above the height of the walls and then down into some wall deco mess. Got stuck, but a flyer bump later unstuck me.

        Pretty fun. Original was necessarily more novel and therefor holds the crown, for me.

          well, i certainly won't miss those jumps that kill you if you don't make it... you know, the ones that Moses is only taking cuz he's too lazy to wait for the weld to finish. though yeah, miss being able to ride the turret, my beautiful beautiful turret.

            Welp, got to mission 5 on insane and unlocked Armory Access achievement (max level and all weapons). I guess it's time to call it a night... or a morning. For today. More!

            (PS. The freezing sentry rocks!)

            Edit: It's probably not the maximum level but unlocked all weapons anyway.

              It would be good if the DEV's puts in an infinite crate of ammo pile because when I was playing on the offline practice mode my team and I always ran out of ammunition.

                  Now that's awesome timing... three weeks of downtime (relocation related) I'm back on the net, only to discover the sneaky bastards released it just maybe half a day early behind my back.

                  PS: just got it off steam and gave it a whirl. Looks mighty good at first glance. Had to remap a few keys to feel comfortable, otherwise it's a blast. Weapons have a very nice -ooompf-.

                      The new bugtypes are getting... colourful nicknames.

                      Previously with Swarm and the likes I pleased my co-habitants at 4 am screaming in the mic OH SHIT INCOMING, MEEEDIC! ARRGH and so onwards.

                      Now, some gems have been stuff like SHIIT TWO INCOMING TESTICLES FROM ABOVE BURN THE DAMN THINGS! Perhaps this time people will be too weirded out to send angry notices.

                      Also, managed to execute a "last survivor, last corridor to exit, ditch the heavy autogun and just run through" on insane. It's still epic
