I have a couple questions about a laptop. I could go somewhere and look it up im sure, but im too lazy (ya hear that Lurox) so im gonna ask my good friends: you guys.

1: Do I HAVE to use a battery, or can it plug directly in somewhere.

2: Whats the avg life on a battery.

thought I had more but can't think of em. Thanks

Typically a laptop has the use of an AC adapter or runs off a battery. How long a battery will last depends on a couple of things: 1) Condition/age of the battery and 2) How are you using the computer.

Typically a battery will not last more than a few hours.

Yeah, you can plug it somewhere. But I have no idea what the life of a battery is though.

Ok, well, if Ill be pluging it in I guess I won't have to worry about a battery then.

        Thanks

You can plug it in at Mc donalds in the near future. They are going to set up a wireless network there.

My laptop battery lasts for about 3 hours. You can use an AC adapter to charge your battery whilst using the mains supply to power your laptop.

Just interested, is it a pain to see things clearly on your lcd screen when playing in darkened levels?

I've worked in the food industry quite a bit, and can honestly say that rarely happens. If someone does do that, they are always immediately terminated.

.... with extreme prejudice, right? You can't just be 'terminated', you need to be 'terminated with extreme prejudice'.

Correct. This, however, never happens to white, land-owning males.
