Hi, I'm new to the forums and Thievery UT. I was curious if there is a macintosh version of the mod in development or if there was anyway to get the windows version of this mod to work on a mac.
I'm not sure about this, but I don't think the developers are porting the mod to Mac. Simply because they don't have time. But I know Dalai (or any other dev) asked if someone could do the porting.
No, there isn't. Thievery can not currently be played on a mac. The devs would like to release a mac version, I'd be happy to code it, the current obstacle is getting the public UT source for mac. It's one of the many projects that occupies my spare time when I have it.

Wow, those were the quickest replies in the history of man. Thanks for the info, I will see if I can try and get it to work by messing with the .ini files and the such. I will post here if I have any luck.
If you're trying to get the PC version to work on a mac, don't bother. It can't be done -- Thievery uses custom code, and it would have be recompiled to even have a chance or working on a mac, and there are all the platform dependant UT issues...

Yea, I just noticed that they use .dll's for the code which is bad news. Damn, I thought it would work in a similar way to Godz or Tactical Ops. O well, I guess I will just have to wait for the release of the source code to the mac audience.
