I'm on a 4 Mega bit DSL connection. So, theoretically, that means I can download 1 Mega Byte every 2 seconds.

I am on 128Kb cable and everything plays and downloads very smoothly in a half decent server.

But living in Australia means i tend to get higher pings and lose more packets. :x :cry:

I have 1.5mb D/L speed 256 upload basically its the fastest i could get,

I'm on supposedly 768K SDSL, but in practice it clocks at about 640K down, 420K up.

I've got something called a 1 MB modem, it's not dial up but it is considered high speed, so am I in the 'phat' category?

I have a 100mb modem, but that doesn't mean I get 100mb per second. What does your ISP say your speed is?

What speed is your net connection?
