well.. it's horrid, they sound all cheery and "let's dance around the campfire!" as they're singing about really disturbed crap!

lyrics to the most fucked up song EVER----

Said the lord unto his lady as he rode over the moss
Beware of Long Lankin that lives amongst the gorse
Beware the moss, beware the moor, beware of Long Lankin
Be sure the doors are bolted well
          Lest Lankin should creep in.

Said the lord unto his lady as he rode away
Beware of Long Lankin that lives amongst the hay
Beware the moss, beware the moor, beware of Long Lankin
Be sure the doors are bolted well
          Lest Lankin should creep in.

``Where's the master of the house?'' says Long Lankin
``He's way to London'' says the nurse to him
``Where's the lady of the house?'' says Long Lankin
``She's up in her chamber'' says the nurse to him
``Where's the baby of the house?'' says Long Lankin
``He's asleep in the cradle'' says the nurse to him

``We will pinch him, we will prick him, we will stab him with a pin
And the nurse shall hold the basin for the blood all to run in''
So they pinched him, then they pricked him, then they stabbed him with a pin
And the false nurse held the basin for the blood all to run in

``Lady come down the stairs'' says Long Lankin
``How can I see in the dark'' she says unto him
``You have silver mantles'' says Long Lankin
``Lady come down the stairs by the light of them
Down the stairs the lady came thinking no harm
Lankin he stood ready to catch her in his arms

There was blood all in the kitchen
There was blood all in the hall
There was blood all in the parlour
Where my lady she did fall

Now Long Lankin shall be hanged
From the gallows oh so high
And the false nurse shall be burned
          In the fire close by

          see my point???

Ok, get a pair of ear protection units and keep them on until march. If that doesnt help... well... you know how some music equipment gets... broken sometimes

I think I would get a .345 magnum if I had to listen to that...

That is the most disturbing thing I have ever seen...

I wonder why jokes about planes crashing into buildings are -not- OK, but music about murders, and poking babies with pins is perfectly acceptable.

I don't see much difference between the two. Yet one will get you a public lynching.

Murder however [saddly] occurs everyday in myriad forms and locations. Though horrid, it gains a certain level of public acceptance because we are exposed to it so often, also the scales of each crime are not exactly relative to each other.
The magnitude makes a difference, too, like it or not. Most people will acknowledge a single murder as a tragedy. However, a mass murderer is generally more reviled because he's caused more death. And the destruction of two large public edifices, and the attendant THOUSANDS of deaths is horrid beyond most people's ability to imagine. If you stop to think about it, more people died in the World Trade Center destruction than anyone here has met, in their entire life.

Haha, at first I thought you meant Steely Dan, and they rock! But you know, I don't know if by those lyrics they are so bad.

Were I you, I'd put on my Koss cirumeral headphones and play TUT with the volume way up so I can hear real well, or throw on some music he hates that I love, ie country, and blare it with my surround sound.

Its a rare occasion when there is ever a murder here where I live. I'm only aware of a diplomats ever being murdered, not that it should deter you guys from ever visiting Canberra.

Now in relation to that disturbing music, can't you like permanently lose it or something
