Frank Marino live CD sampler

Hello all. Many of you have probably heard me talk about Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush whenever we've had a music post, but most (all?) have not heard him.

This link is to a sampler from his new live album. There are many songs, a few seconds of each, put together into one long mp3.

It give an idea of the various styles and sounds, let me know what you think.

He is supposed to be one of the best live guitarists out there.


My dad saw him in his early years...he said the guy didn't stop playing. The band would go on break, and he'd just keep going

That would be "Shes Not There" by the Zombies, a later version was done by Santana.

I recognized the song as well, but had to consult dad to get the info

Yep, the sample annoyingly cuts out as it would of said that line, which stopped me remembering it.
