  • The Political Compass Test

Where do you stand? Now, there is no right or wrong with this, no judgement.
It's just good fun to see where others stand and where you yourself stand politically. (Ofcourse, you don't have to share below if you wish to keep your result private.) Give it a try. Here:

    The Political Compass

    I'm -5.12 in the Economic 'left/right' spectrum
and -4.51 in the Authoritarian/Libertarian spectrum
I think it's +10 to -10 in all four directions/extremes depending on how you answer the questions. They are all multiple choice.

You'll understand this much better when you visit the site. Instead of the traditional 'left/right' wing mode of political 'wings' this test provides the added dimension of a x/y axis into 'quadrants' [Cartesian Coordinates]. Left/ Libertarian being minuses (-) and Right/ Authoritarian being pluses (+).

Remember, no right or wrong answers! Be Honest. Have Fun! 8)

        Your political compass
        Economic Left/Right: -3.50
        Authoritarian/Libertarian: -2.92

Hmm, that test considered my views to be close to those of Ghandi...

That test doesn't mean much to me. I consider myself a conservative, with a few liberal ideas. It seems that the test had more questions pertaining to my Liberal side...

          Ended up with the following:

          Economic Left/Right: 0.25
          Authoritarian/Libertarian: -0.72

Always end up relatively close to center (with a couple of extreme variances) on all these tests personality type tests.
Give some taffer fire, and you'll keep him warm for the night with one less reason to cause trouble for the master.
Set a taffer on fire, and he will be warm for the rest of his life, and have no need to bother the master.

Nah, see, the thing is, you're a CANADIAN conservative. Conservative for Canada is ACLU ideological territory in the US, that is to say, way left of center.

I would not call myself a Canadian either.

                            How about Russian/Canadian semi-conservative atheist?

Or drat, I'm an atheist. No wonder that test considered me a liberal...
