On demand this signature has been changed. I hope nobody was insulted or got harmed due to my signature. If this is the case, I'm fully responsible for the harm that was done. Do you feel harmed or you simply want a listening ear?
"Just off the border of your waking mind there lies another time, where darkness and light are one. As you tread the halls of sanity, you feel so glad to be unable to go beyond. I have a message from another time."
Me to... At least the trapping a thief part... I normally don't turn into Agent Smith.
Unless by that you mean going into a beserker rage and smashing the poor taffer's head...

No, in Thievery, you ARE the agents, at least as guards. Haven't you ever been waiting for an unsuspecting AI, planning on knocking it out, and just as you're about to KO it, it disappears for a moment, to be replaced by a respawning human player?
Once while thieveing aquatone, I got trapped in DQ with the director and a human guard. Now, the human guard knows I am in the room, but does not know where. As it happened, I was right behind him. Out comes BJ, and down goes the human guard. The director was going to be easy pickings except he instantly inhabited by by the Agen ... er human guard who then promptly smashed me to pieces!
Give some taffer fire, and you'll keep him warm for the night with one less reason to cause trouble for the master.
Set a taffer on fire, and he will be warm for the rest of his life, and have no need to bother the master.
I'd seen that happen before while spectating... Cliff, I think it was. He was about to make a dash past an AI when it suddenly disappeared, then reappeared, doing that twisting back and forth that so many human players do on spawning. Having just seen Reloaded, it struck me as very agent-ish, and I said so.
