  • Still that warm

Wow, goddamn is it hot all across europe. We have the warmest summer ever and measure over 150 years. Here we have the last week nearly always 40° (Celsius) and in the night its not getting colder than 25°. In Portugal they cant control the forest-fires and the normally cold North Sea did never have more tourists.

The only thing to do swim and eating icecream, you cant go out without to sweat. Its the warmest summer Im gonna ever experience. And the next week isnt cooler.

And here in Vancouver, further to the south then you Europeans, on the shoreline, I'm walking around INDOORS with a sweater, socks, and jeans. (In the morning. We also try to save on heating bills)

Oh, how I laugh at you...

I'd heard that Europe was having about the warmest summer on record. Odd winds blowing north from northern Africa, apparently. Meanwhile, here in the midwest of the US we're having a pretty mild summer. I've actually been able to turn off the AC most nights. That's odd for July and August.

Wonder what the Aussies will have to say about this....

I doubt they'd have any complaints about high temperatures, considering it's winter there.

Steady 90 F here in the east coast US, rain, shine, blinding mid-day fogs, and hurricane force downpours.
