                        The sword is functional 440 steel -- I doubt the power supply will be an issue for it.

                            440 Stainless still nicks, and if it's 440C, the high carbon content makes it kind of brittle. Try a battle axe instead. I have it on good authority that they work well on stereos, I imagine one would be quite handy on a PSU, too.
