  • eavesdropping: favorite pasttime.

having recently bought both Thief and T2, ive heard lots of quotes and conversations which many people around here seem to quote. list some of your favorites here. am i reiterating another thread i havent read yet? tell me.

T2: ambush! the marketplace. a guard standing on a bridge meets a woman passing by --
Woman: hey there big guy. whatcha doin out here this late?
Guard: uhhhhhhhhhh h hhhh hhhhhhh h
W: dont you want someone to keep you warm?
G: this suit keeps me warm enough. besides, its not even cold tonight.

this particular guard is the stupidest sounding one, with the grumbly voice.
"Tyler sold his soap to department stores at $20 a bar. Lord knows what they charged. It was beautiful. We were selling rich women their own fat asses back to them."

      T1: Baffords Mansion.

G1 (smooth voice): I been thinkin' we should watch the outsidesman...
G2 (rough voice*): Thats stupid! The people to worry about, they're on the inside!
G1: No, then you catch them before they get in, you taffer!
      G2: Oooohhh!

      * I can do this voice nearly spot on...its my favorite.

      T1: Baffords

Drunk guard: Ehey man, quit taffin' round...hic. (then he'd kill me.)

Wow, impersonating Thief guard voices while you're playing...That's so dorky, but at least it makes me feel better about when I always do it...
