Humm... So you are saying when a guard gets hit from a blackjack in v1.3 it does not hurt. Awesome!!
Or maybe it is a stun device. The guard is knocked to the floor and can't move for so many seconds. No lives lost. That sounds good too. Thanks Dalai this is what I have been waiting for.
Nerf: usually refers to something being taken out (or "weakend") of a game for various reasons. Mostly for game balance issues.
BJ = Not what I got last night, but Blackjack. The weapon from the Gods used by the thieves.
v1.3 = Version 1.3 usually refers to a phase of a program. Not a finished product or upgrade but a phase. Finished products or upgrades usually get a higher whole #. Example 1.2 upgrades to 2.0.
But what kind of nerfing? Did he change the radius, or change the 'guard is alert' triggers? Or did he actually turn the BJ into a nerf bag, so it doesn't do anything? I kind of like the 'stun' idea too, since not 'everyone' that gets hit on the back of the head goes unconcious for hours at a time.
I doubt they would just 'take it out' that would dramatically change our little thief world too much!
In D&D games that I play I have seen many things 'nerfed' in the game, but they weren't taken out of it, just had the power of it reduced to a 'more acceptable' level. Sometimes TOO much, but hey, life happens.
Well, unless Dalai wants to give us more (I see you logged in there taffer! lol) we gotta wait for it...
