  • Opera 7.20

This is just a nice and simple thread to let my fellow Opera users know that Opera 7.20 has just been released.

No browser VS browser talk in here, stick to the topic.
    Thankyouverymuch!

Btw, just found a nice skin that reminds me of this forumboard.

What, you didn't like the Black Cat skin?

Hehe. Well, I did take a look at it. But all the black were hurting my eyes. Need something light as a skin/background.

Since were on the topic of skins, here's the skin I use.

What's this "relevant adds" bs ? I thought Opera was supposed to protect our privacy and not sell personal info to Google...

It doesn't sell info. It does display ads, however (the unregistered version), and the new version gives the user the option to continue to display random ads, as before, or to display text ads relevant to the current site being browsed (per a Google search, I believe).

                      Do you have proof?

If it's those Google ads, they're some of the best advertising you'll see on the net. Text only ads(meaning no flashing banners and the like). Take a look at TTLGs ads to get a sample of what it's like. It's non-intrusive advertising.

Hey, Opera users! I'm currently using the trial (ad) version of Opera before I go out and spend $40 on it. I first started using it when it was version 6, and it was a phenominal program. Now, with 7, I noticed within a few days several bugs. To name a few: F11 fullscreens the first tab, not the current. Autoscroll sometimes works smoothly, sometimes is very chunky (3-line skip). Also, keyboard arrows don't control autoscroll speed like IE (yeh, not a bug, but a feature of IE I use a lot).

Anyway, I was wondering what you all thought about the bugs, what kinds are still there in 7.2, if anyone knows of a fixlist for 7.2 online, etc. All these bugs are really ticking me off, and I'm reluctant to spend $40. I'll give 7.2 a try tonight.

Just to say it, Buho. They got rid of a lot of bugs in this version. Gif's even work again.
