Hey guys

DarkProject has made me ashamed of myself. While I have been out partying, enjoying university life, talking about Sartre etc, DP has been finishing off Gerome to make it playable so we can put in 1.5.

I must finish TH-Dig, which is almoosst finished and I think people will like it.

I am also doing a TRAINING level, which is nice, cheesy, simple, good for noobs.

Tell me in a variety of interesting ways to get my ass in gear and I may reward ye all with something interesting.

Well oRGy, doesn't it say in your sig, /slacker. So you live up to it at least. I am kidding. I wouldn't feel bad, people need a break. I have heard enough people using Dromed for Thief, they need a break. They leave for a while, do your RL things, then come back to it. If you force the issue, I don't see that being very productive. You have to want to design, create, it has to flow. That has to come from within.

1. Work on a few things at once, dips those fingers into a few pies, like you do probably anyway. Working on just one thing can get boring after a while.

2. Come play thievery with us, see your creations in play.

3. Get really drunk one night and create, see what happens.

4. Talk to some other people about thievery, get some different perspective on things, step outside that box, get another point of view, not from the regular crowd you hang with. You are trying to do that now with this post, but, via IM, irc, etc. A one on one, can be motivating, in of itself.

5. Let someone else do it. Hah.

Bear in mind I don't have a phone line and to upload maps I have to split them onto floppy disks and upload via a university connection

*take out the harddrive, and pop it into someone elses computer there, that is hooked up to a phone line there, when your totally done, upload it that way*

WHOA THERES GONNA BE A NEW MAP??!!??!! NICE, I bet there will be 200 'Is it here yet' threads. And when it's finally finished it's gonna own all the other maps, and be everyone's new favorite. Everyone's going to play it like crazy and it'll be the only map on the MapVote thingy because all the other maps don't even stand up to it. Words gonna spread about how fun this map is and then millions and millions of people are going to play thievery just to play this map. Oh right, you have to finish it first .

Do the newbie map first! I've seen too many newbies get frustrating saying they don't understand how to play.
