So 1.3 patch = Ghosting only?

Well I read the funny nerf thread that dalai posted and I realised that we wont be able to the guards even when we are at a difficult position... that means only ghosting? I have no problem with that just curious

Nah, the blackjack has been made less of a mass destruction weapon, that's about it. They still can use it, but it will be less useful.

No, what they do is making it more difficult to use IN COMBAT, which is where you should not be allowed to use it. Blackjack is meant to eliminate unaware guards, and with the patch you will be able to KO them anyways, since you'll have the 2 tenths of a second longer required to properly lean/position yourself in the rear of the guard. It won't stop combat blackjacking but it will sure move the game quite a bit towards what the builders intended it to be, so i say yay for them!.
As a side note, the new thief transparency system is going to be the major change in the patch, IMO, because you WILL have trouble seeing people 30% visible only, which again will give thieves a very big edge.

The new thief transparency hasn't had that much of an effect actually. Most of the maps have hard shadows inside which a thief is 0% and outside is 100% so you don't notice it much...

Even if they're mostly translucent , you will still see a moving shape... so they'll have to stop to be undetectable , like now. There's something cool with motion detecting... it revives your predator instinct :twisted:
