  • Good movies to watch after 18?

Hey folks, I'm currently compiling a list of good movies to watch that I've never been allowed to see before, the current list is as follow (Most of these were suggestions from my dad).

    Fargo
    Apocalypse Now
    Platoon
Predator (and other Arnold movies...non-tv versions )
    Body Double
Halloween (I'm not a horror fan, but he said I should at least watch the first Halloween.)
    Pulp Fiction
    Motel Hell
    Get Shorty
    Unforgiven
    Dark City

    Any suggestions?

Also, Ill take suggestions for Thiefish movies, no matter the rating.

    Thanks

    The Hannibal series.
    The only constant is change.
(And I wouldn't have it any other way.)

Fight Club, but how are we supposed to know what movies you weren't allowed to see? We talking all R+ rated movies, or were there some exceptions?

        The name of the Rose

Though not a movie that you have to be 18 to see, it's one of the inspirations of the thief devs.

Stick The Big Lebowski at the top of your list- it's the best film ever, by quite a long shot.

Braindead and Bad Taste are good if you want extreme uber-sick comedy-violence.

Just edited it actually dude, remembered my favourite film ever was an 18 and not a 15.

Anyway, Braindead and Bad Taste are gloriously sick cult comedy gore-fests, directed by Peter Jackson long before Lord of the Rings.

You, my friend, have a hell of a lot of catching up to do. About Apocalypse Now, make sure you don't get the Redux version.

                              Army of Darkness(lol, it's rated R)
                              The Usual Suspects
                              Full Metal Jacket
                              Swordfish
                              The Thing(John Carpenter version)

There are many, many more quality rated R movies.
