  • Need help with applying a new Font.

I've recently been Thiefilizing my computer. I've got an NB background, Thief cursurs, and now I want to use Riddlers fonts...

But I don't know how to do it. I went to control panel, and put it in fonts folder, but that doesn't seem to do anything (its not in display/appearance either).

Whats the process for using a new font?

You have to install it. File -> Install New Font.

just copy the font to the c:\windows\fonts folder. I install all kinds of fonts all the time, never had a problem. Make sure it has the ttf or fon format and isnt zipped. Also, if you are having a problem still, then in that same fonts folder, goto FILE-> INSTALL NEW FONT like Lake said.

copy the font to the font folder, and try opening it...
I recall font installation being weird back then.
                    Maybe do a restart?

As of your admission you're using Win95, I don't think his comment had anything to do with the font installation....

I have 2 comps. One is old, and on is REALLY old.

The win95 one is my REALLY old one, but its ALL MINE! So I'm making it as thiefy as I can...

Which leads us back to the beginning of this post. Hope that explains my use of win95.
