I was theiving Skelstonhead today and I was crouched on the crates near the dock. I had alerted the guards to my presence and was waiting for them to calm down when an AI jumped off the balcony and stood on my thief head. He did about 1/3 damage.

He then said, "It must've been nothing then" and stepped off me and went back to patrolling.

I doubt anybody else here is such an UBER THEIF that you can ghost your way under a guard.

Indeed, I can top that. I've also had a guard standing on me -- in full light, I believe -- and not notice me. The difference is that the guard was you, and not an AI. ^_^

I once surprised a guard on Skelston... I believe it was DarkProject or Sneaksy, by climbing on the boxes near one of the ladders in the underground portion. I was in full light, but he was so surprised when he saw me, he just stood there, staring... long enough to flash him and run like hell...

And on several occasions, I have hid in a corner, while a guard runs around with a flare nearby, and have him pass me, not once, not twice, but 3 times and STILL not see me.

Sat in the upper hallway in Grange once, while Kore and Gerbil ran back and forth past me about half a dozen times each, while I grabbed respawning goblets. Hit the loot goal, and they both went dashing past me, leaving me (as the last thief) sitting right there.

Was in Korman getting Eye on second floor, when I ran in the room I hit the caltrops and a mine (which destroyed the Whistler) used a flash and hid in the corner next to the bed..
AI was standing in the room with it's back to me. I leaned forward grabbed the eye and repair tool. The a human guard ran in with a flare, which luckily burned out the second before reaching me. Jumped on the bed with thier back to me and restocked at the supply chest, then ran out. I stuck out the window and before I jumped off the ledge I shot a few arrows into the supply chest for good measure. My heart was racing pretty good that night.
I ended up winnng by being a DM thief..I forgot to buy picks at my loadout and couldn't get the other eye in time.

I believe it was yesterday.. well wait, its sunday now, the day before yesterday... I believe it was CD and me the last two thieves, and several human and AI guards left. Map = Flats. Loot requirement met. I go to treasury anyway. there were about 100 caltrops on the floor. NO joke. I swear to God there were. And I know how they got there (you thievery loadout editing bastids hehe). Well, I want that dang loot, so I get it. Do I die? NO. Do I take much damage? NO. I lost 4 specs of health geting around all those cals. Still had a health pot and food too. I made it out alive too btw. With all of the exits blocked by crates, AI, chest, human guards, mines, and more cals. Suffered severe heart attack and was writhing on the floor in pain grasping for air.

I have screenies of the caltrops to back it up too.
