  • Oh yeah...

I'd just like to say that I've now been playing Thievery UT long enough that it is now in my Windows XP's "Most Used Programs" list in my Start Menu.

    That is all.

They're the icons that show up on Windows XP's Start Menu.

Yes.,.. the new XP menu system is VERY irritating. Almost as irritating as the "Super Mario Windows" theme that is installed by default.

A lot of the people I know call it "Super Mario Windows" because of the color scheme and big rounded interface.

Whatever you call the default XP scheme... it is STILL irritating.

Notepad keeps creeping up in my list too. Dammit, I like to hit Win+R and type "notepad"+Enter instead of clicking an icon. I can remove that link in the "most used" listing, but is there any way to kill that thing permanently? I've got about 5 programs that I use all the time but never click for because I have them hotkeyed (for instance, Winamp is set to open and play when I hit the play button on my remote keyboard). They're always diluting my menu and I'm constantly deleting them. :? :x

A quick google search (On MacOS X ^_^) returned this page:
Explore accessibility and inclusion technology from Microsoft Accessibility. Ensure and empower those around you to participate in activities at work or play.

From what I can tell, if you go to Control Panels->Taskbar And Start Menu->Start Menu Tab->Customize Button you can set the number of programs to appear in that folder to 0, which should disable it.
