  • I present: Cassandra, Thief Babe

Dak Garlisk Productions presents these (mostly) new non-motion pictures!

Today's episode, Cassandra, the Thief Babe!

(In this thread i'll stick any pictures of characters I make)

You'll notice these are all the originals, and not edited. While some of the editing can be nice, I just don't have the right settings or drawings (yet) to make em look good. I end up losing too much of my light grey shading and stuff.

You probably already saw this one if you checked my other posts.

An attempt at a different pose. In the words of the ever wise Yenzarill, it looks "like she has a steel spinal cord." Which is why I stopped working on it halfway through.

But I kept on. In this one, I tried again at making the head slightly turned, and it ended up turning out OK. She's Lockpicking or prying open that chest, I'm not really sure which.

    Well, people kept asking me.

Send me 2 bucks, a Dr Pepper, and a PM or Email, and I remove the Cenzorised.

Not really sure what the deal with this one is. Just drew it up, for no reason at all.
If you're wondering what she is holding in her right hand, she's not holding it. It was supposed to be a table, with her hand resting on it, but I forgot the rest of the table.

More characters to come Sunday, Sunday, someday...

        Mode: umm, no...

Convict and anyone else: I know the head is too big. My proportions are known to be off. I'm still working on that.

        Or...were you talking about me?

I notice that her forearms tend to be different sizes and lengths.

              I'll say it again Jester,
              nice drawings, keep it up.

But, I'll say this again also,
her head is always un-proportionable to her body.
Try to keep that in mind for the next one dude.

I've noticed lately that all you are drawing is girls, what's with that?

I know it's one of the worsts things one artist can say to another, but, the hands.
                The hands dude, the hands.

Ther's only 2 problems wiht the first picture..

                    1) the cloak has NO thickness at the bottom! no thief wears silk and woolens jsut don't act like that!

                    2) The sword looks odd (no blade-hilt transition+bad sizes), but as i usually only draw weapons anyway, i can't critique too much.

I sent her to the head shrink in that last one. I think its a bit better, but now the shoulders are too wide, which they were anyway, but I couldn't make them smaller cause the head was too big.

Oh, what a slippery slope this is...

Not even going to touch that comment.

I must be missing why you wouldn't touch that. But then being the writer of the original comment, I'm taking it pretty literal.

Its just the truth, they're fun to draw.
